NISHANT PERIWAL

Nishant is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has an honors degree in Commerce from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi.

Nishant, a former Associate Director of PriceWaterhouse Coopers has over a decade of experience in servicing clients in their direct tax matters. Nishant was also involved in developing technology enabling solutions for tax needs of clients.

Litigation Experience 

• Nishant has a rich experience in terms of direct tax litigation. He has extensively represented clients before the appellate authorities and Income-tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT).

• There have been occasions wherein Nishant has briefed Senior Counsels on behalf of its clients.  The Senior Counsels were engaged to argue tax matters before ITAT and High Court.

Tax & Regulatory Advisory 

• Nishant has extensively advised on direct tax and corporate laws matters to clients spread across sectors such as technology, automobile, services, FMCG, power, retail etc.

Tax Compliance and representation

• Nishant has assisted clients in their direct tax compliance such as tax audits, tax returns, withholding tax, Form 15CA /

CB certifications etc.

• Nishant has represented clients before the tax authorities in the course of tax assessment, survey, search & seizure cases etc. He is well connected with the income tax department and nurtures excellent relationships with tax officials.
